Differences in Writing

The most different parts between writing in China and in America are the languages and the orgnizations.
Writing in China is easier for us mainly because we are quite familiar with Chinese, our first language. We know how to make the sentences look more beautiful and we never worry about making grammar mistakes. There are usually four to five paragraphs in an essay, sometimes more. Every paragraph has a thesis statement but will not be specific enough so that the readers will have more interests to the content of the essay.
On the other hand, there are so much differences when writing in English. We have to pay more attention to the grammar. I think the most difficult part is the verb tense. The word choice is a problem too. moreover, the orgnization is strange to me. I have to rewrite my thesis statement again and again before I hand in my paper so that I can make sure my thesis statement is clear enough to the readers. I have a lot to learn about English writing here.

The difference in the language and organizations, you described quite well, and i can't agree with you any more. yes i think being unfamiliar with English is still the biggest problem in our wirting. instead of making awesome sentences, we are trying to figure out our grammar problems and paragragh organizations. I think we have much things to learning in writing.
